On 6 October, after several months of restrictions in Belgium due to the pandemic, the Brussels Chapter of Luiss alumni and students finally met again. It was a fantastic experience to meet in-person to discuss about life in Brussels and share experiences as students at Luiss. Over 50 people participated, and the atmosphere was dynamic and vibrant. The Alumni committed to participating and strengthening the network of the Chapter by hosting exciting events and engaging in activities in the future. Throughout the year, the Brussels Chapter managed to create a strong networking connection with its the local alumni community via several communications of Chiara Bellani, the Chapter Leader. The Brussels Chapter counts the highest number of ALL Members among all International Chapters. New activities are in preparation, including a collaboration with the newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Belgium, Francesco Genuardi. Additionally, the Chapter collaborates very closely with the “Coordination of Italian Alumni in Brussels”, representing the Brussels Chapters of several Italian alumni associations. Together, they organized an online conference on employees’ wellbeing during remote work, which was widely appreciated by the participating Alumni.
