Paris Chapter of the Luiss Alumni Association: a year in review

The ALL Paris Chapter has been active since 2013 and is chaired by Luigi Apollonio, who currently works in the General Management of the French bank BNP Paribas.

It is estimated that in the Paris region there are approximately 300 Luiss graduates, working in the various sectors of industry, finance, fashion, business consultancy, and Italian and international institutions.

In the year of 2021, France was undoubtedly also affected by the pandemic and the upsurge of infections in the recent weeks has unfortunately pushed the authorities to tighten health protocols, discouraging the organization of public and private events. Given the current context, it was therefore rather challenging to organize in-person associative events that we would have liked to host in the post-lockdown period.

Nevertheless, the Chapter committed to providing logistical support and professional advice to our graduates who arrived in France, specifically to those completing the Double Degree in International Business at Paris Dauphine University; arrying out the mapping of our graduates entering and leaving the country; increasing the visibility of the Luiss University in France through the participation of our graduates in the Coordination of the Associations of Italian Professionals in France (CAP Paris) (cap-paris.com); developing further the involvement of our graduates in the community of reference. We secured the election of an associate in the new Comites in Paris, in the recent elections held at the beginning of this December.

Having said this, we hope that our associative activities in France will soon resume, especially those events taking place in presence.
