On Thursday, April 27th, the Dubai Chapter ALL, in collaboration with Italiacamp, Luiss, and Luiss Business School, hosted the grand opening of the Dubai Hub for Made in Italy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This impressive 2,000-square-meter space is located within the Convention Tower of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), a free-zone dedicated to international trade. The DWTC hosts over 500 events and trade fairs annually, attracting more than 3 million visitors.
The Dubai Hub provides a platform for organizations that become members to showcase their Made in Italy skills and expertise. Additionally, members gain access to consulting services for international business setup, networking opportunities, and business matching activities. The hub also offers training, education, and initiatives focusing on fashion, sports, and tourism. The spaces within the hub can be rented in co-working mode or used as temporary offices, even for short periods during trade fairs and industry events.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director of the Department of Economy and Member of the Dubai Executive Council; Lorenzo Fanara, the Italian Ambassador to the UAE; and via video link, Antonio Tajani, Council Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with Adolfo Urso, Minister for Business and Made in Italy.
The event provided a networking opportunity for graduates in the UAE. In attendance were Giovanni Lo Storto, Luiss General Manager; Raffaele Marchetti, Deputy Rector for Internationalization; Raffaele Oriani, Dean of Luiss Business School; and Giovanni Brugnoli, Board Member of Luiss University.
Chiara Rinaldi, member of the Executive Board of the Luiss Alumni Association.
