Accesses and Services

Access to the Campuses

The Luiss Campuses of Viale Romania, Via Parenzo, and Viale Pola continue to be a point of reference for the Alumni and are normally open for events and guided tours, with access permitted upon regular registration.

Alumni may access the Campuses to meet with academic and administrative staff or for other reasons, as long as they are compatible with academic activities and the management of spaces in a safe manner.

Please note that Alumni access may be restricted for security reasons or specific university requirements.

Access

Access to the Library and its services is always possible for Alumni who activate their Library membership.

For non-subscribing Alumni, the Library offers a limited number of dedicated seats available in the Periodicals Room, accessible from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 21:00. To use this service, you must book in advance through EasyAcademy.

To access the booking service, you must use your alumni.luiss.it account. If you have not activated your Alumni account yet, click here.  If you have forgotten your account password, send an email to IT support, enclosing your ID and tax code to retrieve it.

Services

The Luiss Library reserves the following resources and services for all Alumni (including non-Library members):

The additional services reserved exclusively for Alumni who activate their Library membership are:

  • Self Loans: you can borrow up to 3 books for 30 days loan. The service is available Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.;
  • Self-check station: to use the self-check station, users must have the fiscal code and the PIN number. Patrons without the PIN can request it by sending an e-mail to biblioteca@luiss.it Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.;
  • Self Returns: all Library loans can be returned using the self-check station or shipping. the service is available Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.;
  • Self Digital Reproductions: the service is available Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.;
  • Ask a librarian for gaining information about how to access resources and bibliographic research strategies;
  • Document Delivery(DD) for the supply of bibliographic material within the limit of 15% as required by current legislation on  Documents can be collected in person at the Library or by traditional mail;
  • Interlibrary loans(ILL) is a lending and borrowing service between Italian libraries;
  • Remote access: off-campus access to a selection of databases and electronic collections;
  • Wireless access

The Library reserves the right to disable one or more of the services provided on the basis of specific needs.
