Receiving a degree in Economics and Commerce in 1994, Lo Storto has been General Manager of Luiss Guido Carli University since 2013.

Cofounder of the LuissEnlabs business accelerator, he is also a Minority Independent Member of the Board of Directors at Pirelli and C. SpA, and member of the Audit, Risk, Sustainability and Corporate Governance Committee. He is an Independent Board Director at doValue, where he is also Appointments Committee Chairman and a Remuneration Committee Member. Lo Storto is also on the Board of Directors at Formiche, Internazionale magazine, and the Askanews press agency. In 2017, Lo Storto published Erostudente – The Desire to Broaden Our Horizons.
